Terms of Donation
Total Transparency & Traceability Giving our Donors the confidence in our 100% Donation Policy.
Terms of Donation
Thank you for considering a donation to One World Relief. We deeply value your trust and commitment to our mission of providing poverty and emergency relief. As a 100% donation policy charity, we ensure that every penny of your donation is used solely for the intended charitable projects. Below are the terms and conditions governing your donation to One World Relief:
- Use of Donations
- All donations are utilized in alignment with our stated charitable objectives as per our constitution. This ensures that your contribution is maximized to benefit the communities and causes we serve.
- Donations specified for particular projects will be fully directed toward those projects. Any associated costs will be categorized as direct aid costs, ensuring that every expense directly contributes to the successful delivery of the project.
- Administrative and overhead costs are not deducted from your donation. These costs are covered by specific donors who have designated their contributions for such purposes or through Gift Aid contributions.
- Discretion and Surplus Funds
- In the event that the charitable need for which a donation was collected no longer exists or has been completed, our trustees will make every effort to understand and honor the intention of donors. Any surplus funds will be reallocated to other appropriate and similar projects at the discretion of the trustees.
- If insufficient funds are collected to complete the intended charitable works, our trustees may allocate additional funds from general unrestricted funds to ensure the project’s completion.
- Non-Zakat Donations
- All non-Zakat donations made through our website or other portals will be treated as unrestricted funds and classified as general donations. These donations provide flexibility in addressing urgent and ongoing needs across various projects.
- Definition of Direct Aid Costs
Direct aid costs encompass all expenses that are directly associated with the implementation of specific projects. For example, in a food parcel project, direct aid costs include:
- The procurement of food and drink items.
- Expenses related to packing the food parcels.
- Costs for transportation and storage of the parcels.
- Distribution and deployment costs associated with delivering the parcels to beneficiaries.
- Any project-specific management costs incurred solely for the delivery and oversight of the project.
- Amendments to Terms
- One World Relief reserves the right to amend these Donation Payment Terms and Conditions at any time. Updates will be reflected on our website, and we encourage donors to review this page periodically.
Transparency and Accountability
At One World Relief, we are committed to maintaining transparency and accountability in all our operations. We periodically publish detailed reports to keep our donors informed about how their contributions are making an impact.
