Lebanon has endured decades of hardship that have left its people struggling to survive. Once a thriving cultural hub, the country’s history has been marked by colonization and exploitation, followed by years of civil war. More recently, Lebanon has faced an economic meltdown, with the Lebanese pound losing over 98% of its value, plunging over 80% of the population into poverty. With the highest inflation in the world.
The situation is worsened by an ongoing energy crisis that leaves families without reliable power for weeks at a time, or typically 1-2 hours a day, resulting in the whole country reliant on fuel generators.
The influx of refugees fleeing conflict in Palestine and Syria has stretched resources to the limit, with millions of refugees now living in the country. And amid all this, Lebanon continues to face periodic violence and devastation caused by conflicts in the region, most recently the attacks and wars involving the country of Israel.
The people of Lebanon are resilient, but they cannot face these challenges alone. Their cries for help echo in the faces of families without food, children without schools, and communities without hope.

At One World Relief, we believe in restoring dignity and hope to those who need it most. In Lebanon, we are providing life-saving support to families struggling to meet their basic needs. Through your generous donations, we deliver food parcels, hygiene kits, and essential supplies to some of the hardest-hit communities, including Syrian and Palestinian refugees.
Our work doesn’t stop at emergency aid. We are committed to helping rebuild lives by supporting education initiatives, creating safe spaces for children, and empowering women to become self-sufficient. Every project we undertake is tailored to meet the unique needs of Lebanon’s most vulnerable, with our volunteers and founders personally overseeing distribution to ensure transparency and effectiveness.
